Freedom - Out of school, college and education :

"I have no one to ask me to do something i dont like to do". Irrespective of many other reasons one quits school and college the basic feeling in them must be the freedom it provides them. Students hate to be commanded . In the fast pace world where kids are bambarded with all kinds of entertainment, being inside four walls is truely a burden for few. Is it one of the reason why many quit school and college.Its certainly a benefit if one quits school or collge but the result is disastrous.

Education is a Gift you give to yourself - See how your family and country depends on your decision to continue education :

Studies show that the lifetime cost to the nation for each youth who drops out of school and later moves into a life of crime and drugs ranges from $1.7 to $2.3 million.High school dropouts, on average, earn $9,200 LESS per year than high school graduates, and about $1 million less over a lifetime than college graduates. Students who drop out of high school are often unable to support themselves; They also remain unemployed for long and end up in poverty. Do students feel , they have more to do with their life than continuing their education after listening to such information.

Not all can be successful without education :

The media can provide you good inspiring information about the celebrity businessmen who made it big irrespective of being a high school or college dropout. Please do not get into false imagination. Not all can be successful with out education. Please think again, share us your problem and take proper decision.......

How should i present the feeling i have in mind :

Though i am not an expert in statistics and dont have real information about the problems faced by students rich and poor to stop schooling and college education, i still feel connected with this issue because am also someone who din't continued my education after my graduation. I din't feel like doing it because i felt am in a jail when i do something what others want me to do and secondly i was not able to afford what i really wanted to study as my sister was also in her college the same time. In the later years i never regret my decision for life gave me better experiences which made me a person who has time to inspire and motivate thousands of good souls to help themselves for a better life. I hope i have managed to present the feeling i have in mind properly.

I feel irrespective of its glittering commercial ads here and there we will surely try to inspire atleast handful of people who aspire to continue their education.

Goals of Gift Education :

This site welcomes every single person who can write how much their education has helped them in our forum. Please register once and write this message atleast. If you do it, the students who are in dillema to quit education might change their idea and try to hold on and decide in later stages. What we are doing here in true sense is

"Just with our words , we are trying to heal, inspire and motivate young people to continue their education "

Some visitors might be at school and some in their late 20's or 30's or more wanting to continue their education.We are generally trying to help everyone who wants to continue education to get some basic guidance and also give guidance. Atpresent our members wil be less and its hard to find answers quickly but in the long run , we can form a good community helping each other.

Global perception about the issue :

Increasing high school dropouts in America :

I am not worried just about the high dropout rates in America. In 2004, about 1.2 million students didn’t graduate from high school.
Almost 47 percent of dropouts said , the classes were not interesting , they were bored and disengaged from school. More than 69 percent has said , they were not motivated to work harder and someone them said they would have work harder if more was demanded of them.

Many students also gave personal reasons to leave school . some had to get a job and make money, some became a parent and some had to care for a family member. In all the issues , i am sure there are lots of mental and physical pressures a student is going through. I wanted to make this site because we need to listen to them.

The first step towards humanity is to listen to others problems .When you listen , you are actually providing a space in the speaks heart and accept your words. Fill the space with good words of encouragement .Ours words might make them take a good decision in their life.

In India, Africa,South america and many other countries :

Here too there are students who drop out from school and college due to reasons other than financial burden. Some are dull students, they can't sit in the class and feel their life is wasted with education which are not going to help them in practical life.

How ever, in such countries the major reason for school and college dropouts is financial burden.Students are in a situation to do some work and earn for themselves and their family.

What can we do with dropouts statistics :

High school dropout statistics is something everyone are searching for but we have to do something for each individual personally. Atleast provide a space for them to share their pains and pleasures.

Some youngsters wont agree with the goal of our site because when someone Quits, they know what they do is perfectly alright. Its easy to argue that quiting school and college is much better than being there.

What we are trying to do is to address few students who are in dillema and help them hold on for little longer....This itself is a big achievement for these students. surely they will continue their education if they break their need to get free.

we don't need a stastics because each visitor to this site will have a personal reason behind him. Satistics shows a big number where us , we need to take each individual personally and listen to them. We cannot go and change others life . To change ones life , i need money and power which i dont have. All i have is ability to gather like minded people who can guide such people.

Causes of high school dropouts :

The one big reason that many students quit
school and college is because they felt..

1.Its boring
2.It din't provide them the environment they feel comfortable
3.Nobody is there to motivate them
4.Acadamic challenges
5.Financial problems and family situation
6.They dont like to do homework , assignments
7.Their prior education before high school dint provide them ability to cope up with present syllabus
8. Failing in school is a main problem as few were asked to repeat a grade which cause a frustration in them to hate schools.
9.Loss of communication between between parents and schools
10.Students dont have anyone to listen to their problems out of class.
11.increasing parental involvement in their child’s education is essesential but its decreasing as the child grows.

Online schools and online college degrees and university degrees online :

This is another goal of the site to help students who already graduated to continue their education either directly in a college or through distance learning programmes and online colleges and online universities. There are students who needs guidance in choosing the right course, college and schools. If you are benefited by your educational organisation or online college, please write about it here and guide others who are searching for right place to be in.

Few students who face severe problems at school that they decided never to go to school, please ask for guidance to find the right online school. Do not spoil your life by choosing online school/ home schooling as an option because it wont work for all students. students must be eager in learning on their own and must be free of distraction . Above all you need to take time and find if the online school and colleges are accredited and many rules which applies.
